Mimi Theo
I have been a hairstylist for 27 years and have spent a decade specializing in curly hair. I did my cosmetology training at Graham Web Inl’ Academy in Arlington, Va and I continued to grow in the hair industry by acquiring advanced education from renowned hairstylists worldwide.
By mere coincidence, I joined a curly hair salon in 2012 and that became an epic moment that transformed my life & my career into a huge success.
The decision to create this course came from observing the high demand for curl experts and from my deep desire to share the knowledge and experience I gained throughout the years.

Some of the things you will learn
Wavy Hair
Wavy hair gets a little frizzy; it has a very loose curl pattern that turns straight at times and normally lays flat on the crown area. We have videos that will teach you how to cut and style this type of hair to make it curvier and fuller with softness and shine.
Tight curls
These curls tend to turn medium to tight ringlets, and they are notorious for being extremely dry and frizzy. Performing a haircut could get tricky as they tend to shrink by 50%. Our video instructions will target those issues dead on and achieve gorgeous curls.
Kinky/Coily Hair
This type of hair is sometimes dense, usually fragile, spongy, dry, and frizzy. One should assume the shrinkage factor to be by 50%-75%. Although it may be time-consuming to detangle and section this hair, the rest is easily attainable.
